My mom completed her second infusion of chemo on Wednesday. This is the new chemo, the Taxol, which is supposedly more toxic. She's been handling this more toxic chemo pretty well, so her tolerance level is pretty high.
On the down side, she's still accumulating fluid, so she's wanted to get a paracentesis all week, and finally got one done at 5pm last night (after having to have her appointment moved due to an emergency the hospital had to push ahead of her). They were able to remove 6.1 liters of fluid this time, the most of any paracentesis she's had.
She's home now, relaxing, and doing okay.
