A weekend with the girls

I took Lauren to see her cousins on Saturday. It was a good excuse to bring my mom's chaise up to Marie's house and let Lauren spend some time with Michaela and Mariah. She doesn't get to see them as often as she used to, so she was pretty excited to go. Unfortunately Michaela wasn't feeling well on Saturday, so Lauren spent most of her time playing with Mariah. We walked to the local park, and Lauren and Mariah played together on the play structure, the swings and the rocking horses. Afterwards we took a walk around Heron Bay and then back to Marie's house. Lauren loves to explore new places, and had no problems making herself at home in her aunt's home. As soon as we got there, she instructed the girls to go upstairs to play in Michaela and Mariah's room. She had such an exhausting day, she slept the entire way back in the car.
