We received our PODS delivery last Friday. I stayed home from work, to make sure it was delivered in the right place. In case you don't know what a PODS unit is, it's a big storage container, that they deliver to your door (driveway), you get to fill it up, and they either store it for you or move it to where ever you want it to go. In our case they dropped it on our driveway, we're going to fill it up with stuff for the house in Arizona, and they're going to deliver it to our driveway in Arizona.
If you haven't seen a PODS unit being delivered it's worth a watch some time. It comes on a big flat bed truck, and then a hydraulic robot moves it off the truck onto your driveway. There's a few videos of this being done on youtube including the one shown here.
We're planning on driving down to Tucson again sometime in mid-June after school is over and Lauren's ballet recital is done.
