We've been trying to downsize our possessions for a while now, so this past weekend we held a two day garage sale and we hauled off a lot of old electronics to a e-waste recycling event that a local church was having. Both helped reduce our possessions considerably, but there's still a lot more to get rid of. Unfortunately most of the sorting and downsizing that remains to be done has to be done by me, and it's a slow process. The garage sale helped bring in almost $400, so we consider it a success. The e-waste haul off filled the back of the minivan, so another success.
Late Sunday, to thank Lauren for all her patience through the garage sale, we took her to Great America, her first trip since we got back from Tucson. Since we went so late, she only got to ride a few rides, but she was thrilled to go again and had just as much fun as she usually does!
