Xin Nian Kuai Le

Or Happy New Year, for those of you that don't understand phonetic Chinese. It's late on Chinese New Year's Eve as I write this. Everyone else in the house is asleep, but I wanted to wish everyone an early happy new years. Tomorrow marks the first day of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rabbit, my mom's year, the year she would have turned 72.

In her honor, I wish you prosperity and happiness in this auspicious New Year, the first to bring us hope and a light at the end of the tunnel, after quite a few dark years.

Go forth and prosper.
