Spring Break

This week is spring break for Lauren. It's difficult for us because it's a different week than it is for Lars. The week started with Easter on Sunday, and the main event for us this year was going to an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday at a friend's house. Lauren's classmate at Chinese school invited us to her house for the Easter Egg hunt, and it was a really small gathering, only 4 kids total. Lauren had a great time as did the adults, who had a nice adult conversation while the kids played. For spring break week, Lauren's going to gymnastics camp in the mornings, and daycare in the afternoons. It helps break up her time and she's got more to do than just sitting around in daycare at school. She's really enjoying gymnastics and has come a long way in her abilities. She can now do cartwheels, something she struggled with early on. Having this busy schedule this week means a busy week for me as I shuttle her back and forth, not to mention having to get us fed lunch between events.
