Yesterday Lauren turned 1 year old. It's incredible to think a year ago we were watching her being born. Lauren spent the day at daycare, where Lars brought her and the daycare workers a cake to celebrate. They made her a birthday hat/crown to wear, and she played with it all day. When she got home, we went out to dinner at a local restaurant we like along with Grandma and cousin Mariah.
After we got home, we had a cake that Lars made for Lauren, Lars helped her blow out the cake while I took pictures.
We'll have a real birthday party for her tomorrow evening. We've invited close family and some close friends over to the house for a 4pm BBQ and pool party.
