There's lots of family on their way to the bay area. My aunt Jen, Uncle Tao-hui (William) and his wife Tracy all arrive on the same flight from New York on October 14th. My aunt Mei-Ling arrives on October 17th.
Meanwhile we'll all take a road trip out to see my sister and Annette and their kids on the 15th of October. Annette and Sufen are celebrating 18 years of being together with a wedding, and we will be there to help them celebrate.
My mom meanwhile has been spending time up in Davis with Sufen who returns to work on Monday Oct. 9 after her month off for family leave to help my mom with her doctor's appointments. She's back in San Jose now. My mom still has a cough, which doesn't seem to have gotten any better. The only good news is that the bump on her gum has gone away so she won't be needing an oral biopsy, and she can get started on her Zometa treatments again. So she's scheduled to get her next Zometa drip on October 16th, after having stopped for almost 2 months.
Lauren has grown another inch in the last month she went from 30 inches to 31 inches tall in less than a month. She used just like nodding her head "no", but recently she's discovered nodding her head "yes" and seems to do it more often now!
