So it's been a busy couple of weeks for my mom and her guests. First there was a group dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. My mom, aunt Mei-Ling, aunt Jen, uncle Tao and aunt Cathy, aunt Shiu-Feng, and aunt Lih-Ping all went to China Stix for dinner.
Then, the first weekend everyone was here, I drove my mom, her sisters Mei-Ling and Jen, and her sister-in-law Shiu-Feng to Tahoe so they could spend the weekend at Harrah's casino. Everyone lost some money, but still had a good time.
Then by last Thursday, my mom and her sisters and sister-in-law were off to Las Vegas. Along for the ride were my mom's friend Lisa from Canada, and local friends Frank and Glory. They all stayed at the Bellagio. During their stay my aunts from Taiwan were able to go with Lisa to see the Grand Canyon on a bus tour.
Everyone got back from Vegas on Sunday, and my aunt Jen, Mei-Ling and Shiu-Feng were off to Los Angeles to catch a cruise to Mexico. Meanwhile my mom stayed here since she's got a doctor's appointment with the oncologist this Friday. She's also spending some time over at Marie's house since Michaela's had a cold.
