Disneyland!

We had to back out of our trip to Disney World last year, so we took Lauren to Disneyland June 30 to July 2 to make up for some of it.

Lauren was so excited to go. For weeks she's been asking us if it was "June yet" as that's when we told her we'd go, and she kept telling us "we need to hurry, my friends are waiting for me at Disneyland". When asked who her friends are that were waiting, she'd reply "Mickey and Minnie!"

In preparation for our trip I picked up a few Disney items for her, including an Ariel doll (which you can see in her picture with Minnie), a new Disney Princesses swimsuit, and a new Minnie t-shirt.

We spent two full days at Disneyland and California Adventure. Lauren had so much fun at both places. She watched the parade through Main Street USA and the Electric Parade. She had breakfast with Minnie and friends (Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Chip and Dale, and others). She met Princesses Belle, Mulan and Jasmine. She went to Mickey's house where she hugged and kissed Mickey Mouse. She also went to Ariel's Grotto and met Ariel. And of course she got to ride quite a few rides and enjoy Muppets in 3-D.

The only part she didn't like? The car ride there and back. It was way too long for her tastes.
