I took my mom to acupuncture over the weekend. She was feeling pretty good afterwards, may partly because of the acupuncture, maybe because she's taking some meds to increase her appetite and she's actually eating a bit more. But in any case she felt good enough that when we got back to the house from acupuncture on Saturday, she got out of the car and walked up to the house on her own, without waiting for me to get the wheelchair out of the back of the car.
She made it all the way to the front steps, but had trouble getting up the two steps to the landing, and as she climbed up, she lost her strength and fell on the landing. It was more like her legs gave out from under her. No major damage, just a slight scrape to her knee. She seems fully recovered at this point.
