Thanksgiving in the United States

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. It's come to represent many different things (the start of Christmas shopping, the start of the holiday season, etc), but it remains the day that we give thanks for everything and everyone we have in our lives.

This year we are thankful that we are together as a family (thanks to Uncle Tao and Aunt Cathy for hosting this years get together), that we have jobs, a roof over our head, and can provide for ourselves. These things are especially important this year in light of the world economic situation. We realize how much worse things could be, and recognize the needs of those around us. So in the holiday spirit remember to help those less fortunate, and at the same time give thanks for what you do have.
