2 nights ago they upgraded my mom from ICU to Progressive Care, and last night from Progressive Care to a regular room at the hospital. She's been able to do this upgrades since her kidney function seems to be returning slowly, and she's continued to keep her blood pressure up without medication. Her heart rate is still slightly elevated, but going down.
We're still having a tough time convincing my mom to eat, so she's still getting nutrients via an IV line, and she's reluctant to try and exercise her arms and legs in bed, which is the next step to a recovery. Nonetheless, the news is better and she's more stable than when she came into the ER last Tuesday.
