Lauren got to go to 3 Easter Egg Hunts this past weekend. The fun for her started on Friday, with her annual daycare egg hunt, which was at 10:15 AM. I took some time off work to spend the egg hunt time with her. She picked up a full basked of eggs filled with candy, stickers, and other fun things. Then on Saturday, we took her to Central Park in Santa Clara, which had a huge egg hunt. There must have been well over a thousand kids. Lauren wanted to go to meet one of her new friends from daycare, Ellie, who was also going to be there. It was pretty incredible, but we did find Ellie and her mom. The egg hunt itself was broken up by age, so Lauren got to participate in the 3-4 year old group, but even then with the number of kids there were, Lauren's aggressive egg hunting skills only netted her around 8 eggs, which she was kind enough to share some of Ellie's younger friend who didn't manage to get any.
Finally, on Sunday we took Lauren to church, and she got to participate in the church's egg hunt, which was also broken up by age, four years and younger and over 5. The young group was much younger than Lauren and I didn't dare let her join the little ones, since she would have over run the field grabbing eggs. So she got to be the lead of the older group, and managed a decent haul of eggs, managing to fill her sand bucket (we were out of easter baskets, since her other ones were full!). Afterward we went to service, and got dismissed early to join the other kids in crafts, which Lauren was happy to participate in. She managed to make religious themed crafts with stickers, foam, construction paper, crayons and markers.
Overall, a pretty successful Easter for Lauren.

Tim, it seems you all had wonderful time! Amber doesn't believe in Easter Bunny any more... since last year. She used to do the Egg Hunt in our back yard and in her school. In the past years, mom arranged the event at home; as you know she is pretty good with it. Well, at least Amber has few years of experience, I never had a chance to participate in one... :(
Thinking of you all,
Amy
