Lauren got to go bowling for the first time Saturday evening. A couple of my college friends were getting together with their families and invited us to join them at Strike in Cupertino, an upscale bowling alley with a restaurant, bar, and arcade.
Lauren got to take advantage of bumpers that went up automatically when it was her turn and a stand to roll the ball off of, to get it going down the lane. She even had one strike and wants to go bowling again. When we were Target later in the weekend, she insisted on buying this miniature bowling set and had fun playing with it later in the weekend.
We also had a pizza dinner at the bowling alley and Lauren got to hang out with other kids, who were slightly older. She can't wait to go bowling again.
