Marie's younger daughter, Mariah is going to turn 4 later this month. To celebrate, Marie's holding her birthday party this weekend. Lauren's been looking forward to this for a while, as she's particularly fond of birthday parties, not to mention Mariah and Michaela.
Lately she asks when she can see her cousins again, and to my surprise after last weeks outing to Uzen; she asked why Charlotte and PJ didn't go to the family dinner. In an effort to try and get the family together, I've invited everyone to a Chinese New Year dinner on February 20th (a week after the year of the Tiger starts on February 14th). I figure our lives will be less hectic the following week and we'll have also avoided Valentine's day. Having both holidays fall on the same day is sure to create some very crowded restaurants.
Anyway, if you haven't RSVP'd for the New Year dinner, please do soon!
