This summer, we've spent less time in Arizona than we did last summer. Lars and Lauren spent an entire month, but I only spent two weeks down there with them. We're back in the Bay Area for the summer, but that's because Lauren starts kindergarten this fall and there's still all this uncertainty about our home sale and purchase. No movement on either front, so we're staying put for now, and Lauren is going to the neighborhood elementary school.
As for Arizona, Lauren spent most of the summer in the pool, and this year she got much more confident in her abilities, to the point where she was willing to jump in the water with her life vest on and one of us there to catch her. If we get more time in one place, we really want to have her take some swimming lessons.
Meanwhile, Lauren's happy to be back as are we, and we're excited about Lauren starting kindergarten in a few weeks.
