Published!

As most of you know I've been blogging for a few years on an Asian American collaborative blog, 8Asians.  A year or so back I got a request to re-publish some of my work in a text book for Asian American studies.

The book was released this past February, titled "Voices of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Experience".  Three of my blog posts were used in the book, one on speaking with an accent and two on Asians in business and the bamboo ceiling.  

It's the first work of mine that's published that's not related to my job or part of my school work for college/grad school.  (Yes, in case you're curious I did have some work published as an undergrad on neural networks, and I'm published quite often in computer journals as part of my current job).

The only downside to the latest publication is that's rather an expensive text book, so it's not likely I'll have a copy any time soon.
