Well, not quite, but it will be soon. Instead today the house is filled with hustle and bustle getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner, when there will 17 close family and friends at the house tonight. We've decorated the tree, the house, and hung up the lights. Lars has been baking sweets for days, and we're getting ready to prepare the food. Only hours to go before the guests arrive, and a fire is lit in the fireplace. Then some good food, good wine, good friends before we select our gifts from the gift pool and the kids get their presents.
Then it's off to an early bed for the children, and soon the house will be quiet, and little elves will have to be off to work getting ready for Christmas morning. And with a little good behavior, a little good luck, and lots of little dreams, little Amelia and Daniel will awaken to find Christmas did indeed come this year.
