My mom's condition is getting better each day. She's finally beginning to get some strength, her oxygen levels are up, and her pulse rate is finally getting down to normal. She also finally had a bowel movement, one of the things that was preventing her from being discharged from the hospital.
She was also moved out of the Progressive Care Unit to a regular hospital room yesterday, so she's now ins 5424A in O'Connor Hospital.
The doctor that saw her this morning said her stats are all good with the exception of her potassium level, so he's going to go ahead and give her some, but he expects that her level will go back to normal once she starts eating regularly.
He's expecting that he should be able to discharge her tomorrow. I'll post more information when I have it.
