Some Good News

There is some good news on my mom's health. Yesterday, the covering physician for the surgeon removed the chest tube. That means she's got some more mobility and less pain. She was able to walk around yesterday for a little bit and sat up in a chair for about an hour, the longest she's been able to do that so far. With any luck she might even get released later today or early tomorrow. That will depend on the doctor who admitted her for this procedure. They'll do a chest x-ray and assess her health to decide if she needs to stay another day.
