Last week Marie took her family and my mom and Aunt Jen on a cruise from Vancouver to San Diego. They left a few days early and spent some time in Vancouver and Victoria before boarding the cruise ship.
Unfortunately my mom wasn't feeling well, and they were forced to do a paracentesis in Victoria, to help alleviate my mom's discomfort. Apparently the weather was poor at the start of the cruise which didn't help my mom's comfort level.
They were back by Saturday, and while the cruise provided lots of food and amenities, I'm not sure how much my mom got to enjoy. Marie rented a wheelchair for my mom for the duration of the cruise, so she would not have to expend too much energy.
After they got back, my mom went to see the doctor on Monday, and got her yearly flu shot, which sees to have put her under the weather somewhat. She spent most of yesterday rather tired and in discomfort even after visiting an acupuncturist to help her with swollen feet.
