While Michaela's birthday isn't until May 11, Marie and Michael hosted a party for her yesterday in Oakland at MOCHA (Museum Of CHildren's Art). The theme of the party was Hello Kitty crafts, and Lauren was excited go and see her cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncle.
Lauren had fun painting, making a hello kitty headband, finger puppet, and playing with play-dough. In addition she got to play in a pretend house, have pizza and birthday cake. What more could a little girl ask for?
After the party Lauren hung out with some of her cousins at a Chinese buffet, where she got to have her pick of fruit and Chinese food. She was so tired that she slept the entire way home and stayed asleep when I brought her in the house.
