This past Sunday, we were lucky enough to be able to have dinner with cousin Eric and his parents Uncle Tao and Aunt Cathy on Sunday. Eric was here from LA just for the weekend. It's hard to believe Eric's a senior in college already, and as anyone who's been to college knows, senior year also marks the start of the job hunt, and Eric's on his way in that front as well.
We met them Sunday night at the Fresh Choice in the Vallco Mall in Cupertino. Lauren loves eating at Fresh Choice since she gets to pick what she wants (anything but vegetables in her case), and she knows she gets dessert. It's been a while since Laurn's seen her "Jo-Gong" and "Jo-Po" so she gave both a good long hug when we first met up with them.
We also happened to get to the mall early, and I took advantage of that time to browse the flat panel TVs at Sears. I was surprised at how low priced many of them are, but refrained from buying one. I'm sure they will only get cheaper as we get closer to Christmas. We also found a children's shoe store, and found a pair of pink-checkered Vans sneakers for Lauren, the only actual purchase we made at the mall that day.
