My cousin Hal and his family were here last week visiting from the east coast. We were able to meet up with them and his brother Ling's family and my Aunt Lih-Ping as well on Saturday. The went on a week long trip visiting spots around California including Gold Country and were on their way back to the Bay Area Saturday, so we were able to catch up with them in San Francisco on Saturday evening before they left for home on Sunday.
We went to San Tung, a Chinese restaurant in the Inner Sunset that seemed to be immensely popular. Lauren loved getting to see her cousins Charlotte, PJ, Jonathan and Christopher, and it was nice getting to catch up with my cousins and my aunt. After dinner we drove to Ling's house for dessert before heading back down to the South Bay.
On Sunday, we dropped Lauren off at my sister Marie's so she could spend some time with her cousins Michaela and Mariah before she and Lars heads out to Arizona for the summer. Lars and I took advantage of the babysitting to visit SF for the pride weekend events, but we didn't stay long, and were back to pick Lauren up just in time for the hottest part of Sunday afternoon.
Lars and Lauren are flying down to Tucson on Tuesday to start enjoying their summer vacation and the pools down south.
