Our Little Talker

In news that isn't likely to make most parents proud, Lauren had her desk moved at school this week. The reason? She talks too much with the little boy sitting next to her. I guess it shouldn't be too much surprise after hearing the conversation from her pre-school teacher about the child who loved to talk. In case you missed it on my facebook post, here it is again:

One of Lauren's former pre-school teachers relayed a conversation she had with Lauren's summer camp teacher (who had the kids for only 2 weeks). Summer Camp Teacher: "I can't remember their names but they were great, there was a girl who talked all the time." Pre-school Teacher: "Oh, that must be Lauren"

I think part of the problem is that her neighbor, Peter, is a little boy she went to pre-school with, and already considers a friend. Her new seat assignment is next to children she's hasn't gone to school with, so there's a better chance she won't be so talkative!

In other school news, the dance year began this week as well, so Lauren's first ballet class of the school year was yesterday. The dance studio is right across from Lauren's classroom, so she doesn't have to travel far to get to dance class.
