My dad had his usual chemo round on Wednesday this week, but in addition, they took extra blood during the draw on Tuesday this week, in order to measure the CEA count again. It was down from the 700 it was a few weeks ago, to the 200 range again. This is good news, and made my dad's day. It shows that the chemo is finally working again, so he's in a good mood.
On the bad new side, my mother's had problems with irritations in her eyes lately, and the doctors think she might have glaucoma. We're going to take her to a specialist on August 31st, and if necessary she'll have laser surgery to correct the problem in September.
Marie and Michael's condo is still on the market, but with lots of tentative offers, so we're all still keeping our fingers crossed. Michaela continues to get bigger, and more sociable every time I see her.
