My parents, Marie, Michael and Michaela returned from their weekend jaunt up to Seattle yesterday. Everyone arrived safely, and they seemed to have enjoyed their trip. They looked at some real estate properties up on Vaschon Island, and Marie and Michael are contemplating what to do next.
My mother liked the houses they looked at was astounded at the price difference between properties in Washington and properties here in California. Their flight landed yesterday close to 3pm, and spent dinner with Michael, Marie and Michaela.
Afterwards they returned home to examine the handiwork that Lars and I put in over the weekend. Lars worked on getting an arbor that my dad purchased for the backyard installed, setting it in concrete, to help stabilize it, while I installed a new bathroom window (2 windows down, only 9 more to go!)
