Welcome to the Year of the Pig, 4704. Officially the Year of the Pig started on Sunday, February 18th. From wikipedia: To bear children in the year of the pig is considered very fortunate, for they will be happy and honest.
And in case you did not know, Marie was born in the year of the pig.
To celebrate the New Year, our family went out to dinner at a local Chinese restaurant, China Stix in Santa Clara. Sufen, Annette, Amelia and Daniel drove down to join us as did Marie, Michael, Michaela, Mariah and Bau-be.
Lauren had a lot of fun over the weekend, as she got to play with her cousins!
