Not much to report on this July 4th weekend. Lars' brother Kent is visiting us from Portland this weekend, so we took him up to Sausalito yesterday, and then into San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, and Chinatown. Today was more leisurely. Kent stayed at the house and read, while Lars and I went over to my parents house and painted the fence (talk about an All American tradition). After that we went to the Valley Fair mall for some light shopping before coming home to a Fourth of July Barbeque that Lars made.
Marie and Michael went to some invitation only event at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (as Michael's brother-in-law works for the Aquarium society. They survived their first full week without Michaela, who is doing wonderfully!
