Little Lauren got to meet more of her relatives, her aunt (my older sister) and Aunt Annette, and cousins Amelia and Daniel on Saturday. They had just gotten back on a two week road trip vacation to Vancouver. Since they were in town, Marie, Michael and Michaela, along with my parents all went to dinner together. It was the first time in a long time the Chiu family was all together for a meal.
We had dinner in a Chinese restaurant in Milpitas, which is always an interesting ordeal when trying to find parking! But we all made it and had an enjoyable dinner together. Little Lauren rather than be excited by the prospects of more and new relatives, slept through the entire dinner.
Little Michaela on the other hand had a very enjoyable time playing with her older cousins. For just over a year old, she had remarkable skills for interacting with other children. My parents seemed to enjoy themselves as well, and I was able to take a picture of my mom with all four of her grandchildren.
On Sunday, Lauren got to meet my Aunt Lih Ping and Uncle Jun, along with family friend Nancy. We all had a very nice dinner at the Sushi Boat in Westgate.
We've had to fill our weekend with activity since we had two more open houses this past weekend in the continuing effort to sell our home. Lowering the asking price seems to have created more interest in the home as we were told the open house was quite busy compared to recent weeks. Only 7 days now until we get keys to the new house.
