I spent yesterday on a long one-day trip to Shanghai. After 5 hours of sleep, I've made it safely to Taipei. I'm staying at a beautiful hotel called the Formosa Regent, rated as a 5 star hotel, and the amenities here certainly would classify this hotel as such.
I met up with my cousin Sui-guin for lunch along with her husband Peter. I've got a work meeting this afternoon, and will meet up with more family for dinner (so far the reservation is for 12).
Tomorrow, I have a work meeting in the morning, and then I'll meet up with relatives again before heading off to the airport for a 7:00 pm flight back to Hong Kong.
