Su fen, Annette and the kids came down to San Jose for the weekend to visit for Father's Day and to get to see Michaela again. Amelia had a longer trip than the others as she flew in solo from Los Angeles where she had been visiting her grandmother (Annette's mom).
After a rough start we finally met up for a late lunch at Chili's in Santana Row, and afterwards we did a little light shopping and the kids got some hand painting, along with new shoes at the Ecco store, while Annette picked up a new outfit, while we got to be enchanted by some light jazz music.
We then met up with my parents and Lars at my house. The kids watched Mulan, I got my dad set up with his new cell phone on T-mobile, and Lars and my mom set about to make dinner. After dinner my parents watched Chinese TV (CCTV4), while the kids got ready for bed.
Tomorrow, Father's Day, we'll take my dad out to a Chinese restaurant for lunch.
